This short line, operated by the BLS, is integrated into the S-Bahn Bern network. We've looked at it before in the opposite direction (https://youtu.be/Ra7NitmNHFM?si=lKPhQfbjmlU2lCgQ), however this recording shows the old station in Laupen which no longer exists. The line departs from the SBB line between Bern and Fribourg in Flamatt, descending into the Sensetal valley and continuing via Neuenegg to the old Laupen station. Today, the line terminates before the level crossing in Laupen. In a coming video, we'll look at the former continuation of the line to Gümmenen in a recording from 1992 by Andreas Perren.
